Default How To Spam Tonics

Apparently this isn't well known or on gwg/internet so i thought id just share with everyone.

You can Spam Tonics thanks to War In Kryta.

During War in Kryta, near the Asura Camp near Zinn/Blimm's workshop, there is this nifty little area with:

http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Loose_Magic

Normally it makes all your skills fail, but it also...

"This effect will immediately remove Disguises caused by one of the 3 Tonics that can be used in explorables (Transmogrifier, Yuletide, and Zaishen Tonics), but the title points will still be awarded."

Just make sure your under the effects of Loose Magic and start using your tonics. Unfortunately, you can only use Zaishen/Trans/Yulelide tonics, but trans tonics seem to be the main tonic people use for points anyway.

Its not a complete spam, there is a little lag to wait for loose magic to kick in, but since your getting 2 points it basically evens out. Of course you have to go to outside Divinity Coast and spend time getting to Zinn's camp, but it beats District/Guild Hopping.

Anyway, its an interesting little find, whether intentional or not. So if you got some stacks your too lazy to use the slow way in towns, head outside.

have fun

Very cool.

It's faster to rapidly click the tonics (Whichever one you're using) in Ascalon and use the portal to go to the Great Northern Wall. Then, rapidly click again (You can use two tonics per town), walk back through to Ascalon.

Isn't too tedious and you're not limited by the type of tonics you can use, though if all you've got are explorable-usable ones, your method is faster.

Nice tip.

When I had a lot of tonics to use I just phased in and out of my guild hall. faster then porting in and out of town doors as there is no running. Click tonic, hit guild hall, click tonic, hit leave guild hall, rinse and repeat.

Could do with an area like that for drinking

Zinns field of magical sobriety perhaps

Get a bit crowded of course with everyone in the game living there.

This is the tried and true method. Also, you can get 2 tonics per zone if you're quick enough (it's fairly easy) by just spamming clicks. Cuts the time in half.

...no. It's just like spamming anything else. The only time you'd get banned is if you're using a .dll injection to run a bot (which is stupid, considering the counter-measures we've seen) or your behavior is so radically inhuman that it can't be human, i.e. you manage to click on a 5 minute booze with exact double click timing at exact three minute intervals for an hour. No human, no matter how attentive, can achieve that degree of precision.

ANet really isn't just a big ban monster roaming around eating people spamming tonics.

You have no idea that i was constantly clicking in out of guild hall with arrorw on tonic and windowed next to the guild hall button for a good hour last month. I've always known you can be quick enough to get atleast 2 tonics. Must be to do with how quick the game can update and does this check on whether your tonic condition is set.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any more fun. If drinking tonics and eating sweets wasn't fun enough now you can SPAM it! Obaby!

Is this legal? I mean, I don't see why it shouldn't be, but I wouldn't want to risk my account for something like this.

I don't see why it wouldn't be. It'd be the same idea as spammable sugar or party points, if you're referring to being caught up in a bot ban. As long as you're not using a bot to click, of course.
If you're referring to using the environmental effect for (albeit very minimally) nefarious purposes, even then I'd have a hard time getting on the exploitation bandwagon.

Banning for spamming tonics....may as well ban for spamming ghosts or snowmen.

Get a clue, people. I'm sure they introduced that effect for a reason. Probably THIS reason.

If you could spam pumpkin cookies, now that would be something.

Yeah all the DP/morale ones are poopy. I stood outside with BiP and a Resmer to get rid of 'em, since they're impossible to sell or trade for spammables.

Wasn't actually that bad, but it wasn't the most fun I've ever had either.

Use them as you are death leveling a pet in the Menagerie, or at least use the setup to DL as you are killing yourself over & over & over & over...

Edit: Ninja'd by too many open tabs >.<
